The Parish Council acts as the advisory board to the Pastor regarding administrative and policy matters for the Parish. Council members are elected to serve a two-year term, and meetings are held monthly. The Parish Council regularly reviews the Parish Mission Statement. Needs are assessed periodically in the major areas of parish life: spiritual life, human concerns, Catholic education and social life. Pastoral planning, defining parish goals, setting broad strategies for implementing those goals, and evaluating the parish's success in carrying out the Church's mission are all within the realm of the Council. Implementation of policies of the Council is the responsibility of the Pastor and the parish staff. Coordination of parish activities, in light of policies, is the Pastor's responsibility.
